My father-in-law made me a new mold! Now how do I line it =\ One of my mailing lists recommended craft foam, so I may give it a try.
Yesterday I made a new soap using Celene's swirling and texturing messages. This is Lemongrass Lavender Coconut. I need to find a creating naming formula!
How easy do you find the wooden dividers when you are removing the soap? I want to get someone to make a slab mold with dividers for me, I found some with instructions for using lexan, but that stuff is expensive.
I love the swirls in this soap! They are gorgeous!
I actually haven't used my FIL's mold with the wooden dividers for just this reason *blush* .. I haven't figured out the best way to use them yet. I did find a mold that comes with a cutter so that you can cut the bars equally, here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/119548228/wood-soap-making-mold-15-bars-4-oz-with.
The lemongrass-lavender soap in this post was actually made in a log mold and cut manually, which most of my soaps are.
